1 juli 2021 wordt statiegeld op kleine plastic flesjes ingevoerd. Per flesje (< 1 liter) wordt straks 15 cent statiegeld gerekend. Voor grote flessen (> 1 liter) blijft het 25 cent. Inleveren kan in supermarkten, op treinstations, bij tankstations langs de weg en via cateraars. Deze maatregel moet leiden tot veel minder plastic zwerfafval.<\/p>\n

Plastic soep tegengaan<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Door statiegeld op kleine plastic flesjes in te voeren, wil de overheid plastic flesjes uit ons milieu weren. Jaarlijks gaan zo\u2019n 900 miljoen kleine plastic flesjes over de toonbank, zo\u2019n 100 miljoen daarvan belanden in het milieu. De inschattingen zijn dat met dit statiegeldsysteem 90% van de plastic flessen, zowel klein als groot, wordt ingeleverd.<\/p>\n
